Your bed with a metal canopy will look nicer than with wood canopies. You’ll get a more Victorian feel from it; you’ll find it easier to clean too. You’ll notice how wood frames get termites, and sometimes deteriorate over time. If it rains, most of all if you have leaky ceiling, you’re going to have a bad time taking care of it. You won’t suffer much from buying metal canopy beds, you’ll probably even be spared a couple of bucks compared to wood frame canopies.
You Can Add A Touch Of Style A nice touch you can add to your metal canopy bed is obviously draping it with curtains. If you’re a lady, you’d definitely love this. You’ll feel like a Disney princess sleeping in a dreamy bed. Well, you can drape only one side if you don’t like too much flair. I know, putting curtains on seems a little too much for the guys, but you've already got a metal canopy bed frame so, what have you got to lose? Really Useful Canopies Besides it’s a lot more useful that you think. Did you know that your ceiling accumulates dirt and dust too? Sometimes that crack up there is the cause of your bed sheets getting wet, not your little kid. Putting a canopy over the frames is going to save your bed from joining the laundry too soon. Yes, there are canopies that cover the top of the frame, something like your metal car canopy. Not that thick though, just dense enough to act like a small roof. So whatever dust, dirt or rain drop your ceiling threatens to drop on your sleeping head, your canopy will just catch it. Works Fine Anyway You Want You can still put curtains on either side, or all sides, of your bed frame. You can cover the whole left side of the frame with curtains and leave one side open. It’ll make your bed cosy enough during cold seasons, or you could cover all sides with one side draped with two curtains. That way you can slide them aside to open, if you really prefer that kind of privacy. Either way, they make up a really good sun shade during hot, sunny noons. Your frames don’t have to have thick cloth or drapes; you could get some really cheap embroidery-type cloth at craft stores. You can use your own stock of curtains if you don’t want to buy anymore, it works just fine. Your frames won’t be that thick and you’ll easily match it with any color. Useful At All Times You can find more uses for the cover if you ever get tired of canopy frames. You can turn it into a mini tent for your kids’ play time or a portable sheet for your picnics. You can even use it as a mosquito net during naps in the afternoon. Another favorite use of your metal frames along with your curtains is crafting a gazebo outside in your garden. You might find it useful on outdoor occasions and it looks really nice among the plants and trees. It’ll save you extra expenses, who knows, someone might be planning for a garden wedding.
